247 Pictures is an innovative production studio with offices in Singapore and Bangkok that creates original new series for some of the largest streamers in the world.
At a time of seismic shift in the media landscape, when Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, HBO and Apple are all looking at creating a plethora of local Asian content, 247 Pictures works hand-in-hand with these global streamers to create international quality, award-winning series for a local and global audience.

247 Pictures has a focussed, bespoke development slate with scripted and non-scripted series designed to be shot in Asia and shown around the world.
Local Production
247 Pictures’ founders Patrick Carr and Nicholas Simon have more than fifty years’ production experience in Asia between them. Productions cover South-East Asia (Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Viet Nam) to China, Japan and Korea.

Nicholas Simon
DIRECTOR
Co - Founder
An American/Hungarian citizen, Nicholas Simon founded the international film and television production company Indochina Productions in 2010.
Nicholas pioneered bringing big budget filmmaking to Vietnam with Warner Brothers/Legendary Films’ KONG:SKULL ISLAND starring Samuel L. Jackson, Tom Hiddelston and Brie Larson and Netflix’s DHAKA starring Chris Hemsworth to Bangladesh.
Nicholas acted as Executive Producer on 247 Pictures’ most recent work: an eight part reality series ‘Deane’s Dynasty‘ for HBO Go

Patrick Carr

Patrick has brought creativity and energy to a variety of documentaries, TV series and movies in Asia for more than twenty years.
Patrick has worked
on some of the most ambitious projects to be filmed particularly in China, including award-winning multi-part landmark TV series, globally released feature docs and Hollywood films.
Amongst others, Patrick produced ‘EARTH:
ONE AMAZING DAY’ with Jackie Chan, and ‘BEFORE THE FLOOD’, with Leonardo Di Caprio as well as many episodes and
originals for Netflix and Amazon, including ‘THE GRAND TOUR’, ‘MIGHTY RIVERS’, ‘SKYLADDER’ and many others.

Cod Satrusayang
EXECUTIVE PRODUCER CONSULTANT
Cod Satrusayang is 247’s Country Director in Thailand and the firm’s key point of contact. He has over ten years of journalism experience in Southeast Asia serving as Senior Political Correspondent for Thomson Reuters and the German Press Agency, and as a producer for CNN.
Cod has served as an advisor and consultant on major Hollywood and regional film projects. Cod is a graduate of Edinburgh University and the University of Minnesota.
